Lots of exciting news this week!

Exciting News #1

We found out what classrooms we are going to be teaching!

Allie and I are going to be team teaching first graders. They have just moved up from day care, so we will be the first volunteers to work with them. I cant wait to teach them how to spell their names!

Ariana is going to be working with the same kids she taught last time she went through the program. They have recently moved up from the second grade, so she will be taking over the third grade classroom.

We are all really excited and nervous at the same time. Well Ariana isn't nervous, but Allie and I are, mostly because we don't know what to expect. It seems like a lot of work right now, but once we get used the the routine, things should get easier…

Exciting News #2!

We are reconnecting with some of the friends we met back in Delhi. They want to come visit us! And you thought the crazy fun part of our trip was over….Hopefully they will be able to make it. Unfortunately, Udaipur is a farming community and has zero nightlife. So we will just have to make our own party on the weekends. What should the theme be? Gagster? Gypsy? Toga?

Exciting News #3!

Ariana has heard about a contest that involves making a three minute video about a charity. We just so happen to be working with a charity and have some great high definition video equipment… I think it's in the bag, but we'll see. Cross your fingers!
