Today has been a somber day….
Allie, Ariana and I started the first stages of packing. Wrapping up all our Indian trinkets and tucking them away to be safely carted back to America only reminds us how little time we have left here in Udaipur.
Three days and counting...
I also spent an hour doing my laundry and hanging the clothes to dry only to have it monsoon while we were in town. They were all soaked in Indian rain water by the time we got back.
Then when we visited City Palace, it downpoured the entire time, drenching the only remaining dry shirt I had. In addition, Allie almost killed herself walking down the slippery marble stairs.
Marble: very aesthetically pleasing. Not very wise for an area of the world that monsoons three months out of the year.
In addition: Allie and I can't seem to shake this stomach virus that has been plaguing us the last five days.
I think at this point, India is more ready for us to leave than we are ready to leave India.
